- Must switch one rider, limit of 8 rides, 1 draw/7 u-picks. If you only want to run 1 time you DO NOT have to enter a draw. The draw round teams will be picked and run with the u-pick teams. You may run as many draw runs as you can up to 8.
- At each penning, 100 teams and under, the top 15 teams will be brought back for the final go round; over 100 teams, 20 will be brought back.
- 50% Payback to the top 4 teams.
- Points will be awarded to each of the top 10 placing's. 10 points for 1st place 1 point for 10th place. Points are awarded to each individual, not team.
- Horses nose must be in the gate to call time. Any calves slammed into the back of the pen will be called a no time by our Judge.
- Judges decisions are final!!! Anyone arguing with the Judges will be disqualified for the rest of the day.
- There will be an Arena Director at each penning. The decision of the Arena Director will be final. Any complaints will be directed to the Arena Director (to be announced at each penning) and they will talk to the Judges or look up rules and make a decision.
- Any roughing of cattle may be called by the Judge or Arena Director.
- Must pen three cattle in each round.
- Each event will have 21 head of cattle per heard
- Please use the same horse for both goes, to make it as fair as we can.
- Boots with a heal and long or short sleeve shirt with a collar will be required. Hats are optional.
- Lunch will be available at each penning.
Youth division
- Must have 1 adult per team. Participating adults will be volunteers.
- Youth will receive 100% payback!
- Youth teams will be run with the circuit runs before each cattle change.
- Only youth members of the team are allowed in the herd. Adult members are there for guidance and to hold the line for the youth.
- Adult team member is responsible for getting the team to the arena on time.
- Youth teams are to only pen two head! Three head will be counted as two.
All start times (including Ranch Sort Jackpot with
sign-ups closing at 12:30 sharp) will be 1:00 pm. If there is bad weather we will hold event indoors.
All that we require is that you wear boots with a heal and tell as many people as you can about us!!
